There is certainly no shortage of real estate agents in one of the hottest markets in the United States, and I could certainly boast about my 100+ million in sales and tout off adjectives like knowledgeable, honest, thorough, tenacious, etc… but to me, buying and selling real estate is so much more than a one-and-done deal. I love this industry because of the personal relationships I get to form with each and every client.  What that means for you is that first and foremost, I’ll work to understand your goals, whether you’re looking for an investment property, your forever home (or anything in between), and then you can count on me to be available and responsive to you every step of the way. The most important part of every transaction happens at the negotiation table, and that’s what I do best. Maybe it comes from my years as a competitive athlete, but I’m here to win for you. Then, once the deal is done, I’ll continue to be here to help you reach your next goal. What really makes you different?

While originally from Sweden, I have traveled the world and spent my life competing, but specifically chose to settle with my family here in the Valley of the Sun because I love it here. Since retiring from professional hockey, my passion has become Phoenix real estate, helping individuals and families buy and sell in this competitive market. I’ve been honored to help guide countless international clients through the process of investing here, specifically Canadian clients. If you’re new to the Arizona real estate market, there are obviously a lot of intricacies throughout the process, and my true differentiation from other agents is my experience and expansive network that will help you navigate all the details, such as foreign taxes, legalities, property management, etc.

What areas of the Valley do you specialize in?

If you’re unfamiliar with “the Valley,” that term is pretty general to describe the very expansive metropolitan area of Phoenix, Arizona. Every corner of the Valley has luxury real estate options, and while I’ve closed deals in countless zip codes, I specialize in helping clients buy and sell in the prime real estate cities of Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and parts of Phoenix.

What specific area should we look to buy in?

As mentioned above, there are luxury real estate options across the Phoenix metro area, and the answer to this question truly depends on your specific lifestyle, needs, and goals. However, generally speaking, if you’re unfamiliar with the Phoenix area, the most exclusive and coveted real estate can be found in specific neighborhoods in the cities mentioned above. To name just a few of those neighborhoods- an address in Ancala, DC Ranch, McCormick Ranch, Troon North, Desert Mountain, Boulders, Gainey Ranch, Kierland, the Biltmore Estates, or Arcadia would all be considered “prime” or “elite.”

I want to buy an investment property, do you help with property management or have other referrals?

Yes. Over the years, I have developed an exclusive network that can help with every aspect of buying, selling, and investing in real estate, including property management. I may have stood solo defending the net for years, but playing hockey taught me the absolute importance of having a strong team supporting each other, so whether you need referrals for contractors, accountants, lawyers, or even a good dentist – I have the contacts you need.

Is buying for an AirBnB a good investment?

There are so many factors to consider when determining whether an investment property will be profitable on AirBnB or other short-term rental platforms, so there’s no quick answer to this question. I have helped many clients invest in properties that have been wildly successful as both rental properties and short-term vacation rentals, but I would need to personally get to know you and your vision for your property before giving you a more thorough answer.

I live in Canada, what should I know about buying a property in Arizona?

Do you still play hockey?

Yes! Hockey will always be part of my life. I play as a forward in a beer league, and I help out as a volunteer coach for the Arizona State Sun Devils.
