Eddie’s Journey
Born in Sweden, Eddie Läck watched his country win gold at the age of 6 years old in ice hockey at the 1994 Olympic games, and he knew then he wanted to be a professional hockey player.
He fell in love with the game, but quickly discovered he wasn’t the best at ice skating. However, his determination to succeed in the sport he loved just meant he needed to arrive hours early to practice to get first access to the one set of goalie pads his hometown team had.
His tenacity paid off, and he went on to have a successful goalie career as a Gold Medalist for Sweden in the 2017 Ice Hockey World Championship, and a six year run in the NHL.
Eddie met his wife, Johanna, in Chicago, and after a couple of hip surgeries and officially retiring from the NHL in 2020, the two knew they wanted to settle and raise their family in a warm state, leading them to purchase their North Phoenix home via facetime.
With a lifelong interest in real estate, Eddie has now been using his innate determination and competitive streak to become a top producing Arizona realtor, racking up over $100M in real estate sales, and he has no intention of slowing down anytime soon. It’s no secret that the Phoenix metropolitan area is a wildly competitive real estate market (especially the areas of Scottsdale and Paradise Valley), and that means Eddie’s grind never stops.
